The Renaissance Choir and Portsmouth Cathedral Choir performed a programme full of wonderful music to a full house on Saturday 17 December, raising nearly £5,000 for Rowans Hospice.

Portsmouth Cathedral provided a splendid candlelit venue for this delightful concert, filling the audience with festive cheer. A beautifully arranged programme of music was performed from the 17th to the 21st centuries, along with carols to celebrate the festive season.

Feedback from Rowans staff included:

“I overheard people comment on how the performance surpassed expectations and was even better than last year. I think the packed Cathedral added to the occasion and all the splendour from both choirs, the organist and indeed those trumpets!”

“The feedback from the audience was incredible and I know that the Concert was appreciated by so many, thank you all for yet another successful collaboration and look forward to next year!”
