Widely regarded as one of the most ambitious and influential exhibitions of contemporary art today, British Art Show 8 is taking over the entire Southampton City Art Gallery this autumn. Organised by Hayward Touring at Southbank Centre, London every five years, the British Art Show is designed to showcase and celebrate the country’s leading role in the international art scene.
During British Art Show 8, the opening hours will be extended, with the gallery open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm thanks to support from the Hampshire Cultural Trust.
