It was a highly memorable evening in Southsea on 15 July. Appreciative messages have been pouring in:
“What a joy tonight’s concert was! So very moving. Yes, we tingled our way home and I’m still tingling. You have a wonderful knack of finding the perfect way to start a concert – the Pater Noster tonight was no exception – you had us “in the palm of your hand”.”
“The Philip Moore “I saw him standing”, new to me, is a wonderful piece and brought tears to my eyes.”
“There’s certainly no hiding place when singing in the round, but a great opportunity for us in the audience to identify some more of the beautiful voices in the choir. I’m envious!”
“How lovely to hear some of your music which I liked very much indeed (and I’m not just saying that – I mean it). So much to praise – I think you all excelled yourselves. One of the best – if not the best – performances I’ve heard the choir give.”
“I attended your Gloria concert yesterday evening. To say we were blown away is an understatement. Thank you for giving us what I can only say was the finest choral evening of my life. Brilliant!”
