About the Renaissance Choir
The Renaissance Choir is a leading non-professional SATB/SSAATTBB choir on the South Coast, with around 30 auditioned members.
Known for its passion for a cappella Renaissance music, the choir performs an ambitious and varied repertoire encompassing sacred and secular works from the Renaissance through to contemporary composers.
Based in Emsworth, the choir rehearses on Friday evenings and presents around four concerts each year across South East Hampshire and West Sussex.

High Musical Standards
Renowned for its rich, often eight-part singing, skilled in-house soloists, and commitment to high musical standards, the choir also commissions new works, supporting living composers.
Under the long-standing direction of Music Director Peter Gambie, members benefit from vocal development, learning resources, an extensive choral music library and a supportive environment where every voice matters.
As a registered charity, the Renaissance Choir promotes cultural enrichment through performances, education and collaborations, regularly touring across the UK and Europe.
